“Floristics 8” was established in 1989 by Sarah-Jane, and is your local independent Flower Preservation company offering a friendly, professional & relaxed service, with a free ‘no obligation’ consultation. We are proud all the pictures you view on our website, in our portfolios and at exhibitions we attend have been created exclusively by Sarah-Jane for your future enjoyment.
3-Dimensional Preservation is a unique Art, capturing the beauty from a single bloom to an entire bouquet, by the quick extraction of moisture, leaving the flowers dried, yet displaying their natural form. Pressing is the process of carefully dismantling individual petals of each bloom, pressing flat, and reconstructing the flower in a classical flat 2- dimensional form. Some colours may vary during either process, which we can if you wish, delicately enhance bringing freshness & vibrancy to your arrangement. Your flowers are then reconstructed into their original design into individually customised flat, boxed or domed frames, comprising of UV glass or acrylic, helping protect flowers from potentially damaging sunlight.
