This is a highly specialised job owning a camera does not make a Photographer. I went to a wedding recently and was amazed to see Uncle Fred with a very nice camera but he had no idea about how to use it to its full potential. I.E. The lighting and shadow effects, he did not know about filters and soft focus and any of the more technical aspects that a professional Photographer would have known.

As a result the shots were nowhere near the standard needed to look back with pride on the big day, and was not the sort of album you would have been proud to pass around to relatives etc. So this is the most important time for you to get it right, use a professional Photographer for your wedding day.
